My first time posting here, hoping I can explain the problem so it can be understood. I own land on a private estate. There are 9 sims here all owned by the same estate owner. I have a friend who has been able to visit me any time over the last 5 months. A couple of weeks ago, all of a sudden, he wasn't able to come here. The sim shows on his big map, but shows as a gray square on his mini map. If he tries tping to my land he crashes. He can tp to a sim next to mine, but when he tries walking to mine he goes right into the ground. He has no problems going to any of the 8 sims around me. When he stands on an island right next to mine, but on a different sim, he can't even see the sim I live on...he just sees ocean. Doesn't see my house right in front of him. He has tried reinstalling sl, clearing his cache, detaching everything...not sure what else to try. I would appreciate any help or ideas....thank you  |

have the estate owner restart the sim first as sims can get connection issues with the rest of the grid
easy and simple first test to do
just been there and didn`t notice anything

As far as I know, no one else has any problems coming into the sim. I'm there every day, I have friends coming by and no one has said anything about having trouble. It's just this one friend having troubles.

I had that exact same problem. I had to reboot my modem and router.

Just wondered if anyone had any more suggestions? The sim was restarted and he still can't tp here. No problems going anywhere else. Seems strange this is the only place he can't get to. When he tries tping here, he crashes...it doesn't put him somewhere else, doesn't tell him he's banned or anything like that...he just crashes. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

Have him clear cache, i just went throught the same thing, and that fixed it for me

I've seen this happen to my sim where I could only enter it from one side I couldn't even teleport from any sim north of it to any sim directly south, from inside 3 of the surounding sims appeared as water and I walked into a barrier, from the other side my alt could see my main but not walk through the barrier.
