Ok getting no response in the technical section, so gonna try here.
I kept getting my account locked for 5 mins every time I tried logging in, so I logged in an alt to check if it was an SL or me prob, and found my main ID standing around in the house where I'd left her when I had logged out about 4 hrs before.
How do I get her logged out so I can log back in as her???

One solution that has been suggested in this forum for "ghost" avatars like this is to get the Lindens to restart the sim.

Have your alt send the stuck av an IM. Might force the issue and log it out.

Thanks for the advice guys. I have IMed her and paid her, but she's still there. I'll have to hope LL get around to doing a sim restart soon.

If paying money, sending an IM or offering a TP does not help, then sometimes physically pushing them around will (walk into them) and if that fails, start using weapons -- orbitting them always works if they are physical. If you can walk thru them - a real ghost - you may need LL help.

Hi Jordan - this happened to me recently, and LL dealt with it really quickly when I lodged a support ticket. Have your alt go inworld and take the exact coordinates (you should find you can fly through yourself with ease, so that won't be a problem!) Tell them you've tried the other known tricks, and with luck they'll restart the region pretty much straight away for you. Oh, and take a picture of yourself and your alt for posterity - the day you met your own ghost!  |
