A while back, there was a bit of an explosion of people trying out the ShadowDraft viewer code, and so on, and as I understand it, someone actually implemented it into an actual viewer, if only one version.
I believe the name was Kirsten, or Kristen, or something similar, but when I search for it, I only find dead blogs, and no link to anything usable.
Is there any compiled ShadowDraft viewer that is still operational, floating around out there? If so, can someone please post a link? I haven't really heard much about it in a long while, and I no longer have the viewer that I used to try it out myself, but would like to run a shadowed SL for a few things.

kirstenlee stopped the projects for second life viewers, that makes it trickyer to find hosts of compiled viewers beyond ...R2.
good news is that with its end the viewer went opensorce. |

"Shadow Draft" moved on to trunk a while back and has 1.23 as version (if it's not 1.23 but has the bulk permission change UI then it's still somewhat recent), although I can't imagine they would consider it "release ready", or even "first look" ready.
While some things do look better in the recent releases, alpha behaviour was far better 6 months ago (and taking snapshots hasn't worked for me in any of the releases for the past few months). |
