Due to reasons I won't bore you with i've got a new system and a fresh instal of SL. Been trying to get all my viewer settings sorted out and there are 2 I cannot remember how to set and am bored at looking at the menus now.

LOD for sculpties - how do I optimise this?

Remove the animation when taking snapshots - got important stalking to do and this will blow my cover so need to turn this animation off

LOD for sculpties - how do I optimise this?

Try setting RenderVolumeLODFactor on Debug Settings to a higher number? I moved mine up from 1.25 to 4 and that helped immensely.

Control-Alt-D to Advanced Menu, then Quiet Snapshots....I think.
