Newbie Question--I Know! Big Feet

Yes I am new at SL but am loving it and the community. I keep running into small problems and usually I can work them out. This one: the big feet problem, is not letting me fix it. I have already read the postings on demo shapes and demo skins--I have tried the suggestions but my feet are still quite large.

I picked up a demo shape and put it on. The feet were large. I bought another shape and put that on and my feet, although not huge, are still large. My cute stilettos don't fit! If I go into appearance and look at the feet they are already set to 0. If this is not a skin problem (right?) then what do I do?

Thanks in advance.

Good shoes come with an aditional shoe that you wear before you put on the prim shoes, they will shape your feet right... I never done it but maybe you cna try to make your own shoes till they fit the prim ones

Demo shapes often have giant hands and/or feet intentionally, this is to make you want to buy the full price shape; the creator wants to make money, not give you a free shape. ;)

With a little patience, you can make your own shape using the Appearance sliders. From the inventory window, click New > Body Parts > Shape, then wear the new shape and go into Appearance Mode and experiment away!

If you are wearing a non-demo shape, then as mentioned above, you should make your shape's feet size 0, and be sure to wear all the parts that came with your prim shoes, including the "shoe base" which magically makes the shoe fit correctly.

a lot of shape makers will also make DEMO shapes have large hands and/or feet on purpose so you BUY their shape not just use the demo....

Yes but I was stumped because I switched out of that demo skin and the feet were still too big for my shoes. That's where the shoe base comes in. Thanks all.
