Has anyone run into a tool which gives me a picture of a sim with all parcels, their names, ideally size and the border lines in between? I mean really kind of a map. Thanks for any hint, Violet

Turn off clouds and fog.
Sit on a prim and then move it up high
Look down and take a photo
You might need to up your draw distance but this does work, honest
You can also mount a remote camera in the sky so as to take pictures at regular intervals etc.

Presumably you could activate View>Property Lines (or Cntrl-Alt-Shift-P) before taking the picture, but I think these show up as red and very thin. Not sure how far they show up.
Hey - I'd like to try that!

There is no way to get the parcel names or owner info as far as I know without going from parcel to parcel and clicking About Land.

From: Raymond Figtree There is no way to get the parcel names or owner info as far as I know without going from parcel to parcel and clicking About Land. You would think that if a bot can purchase a lot from across a sim in a microsecond, that it could read parcel owners... dunno. I bet a custom viewer could do it tho since even the regular viewer knows what to call for that info.

I have scripts that scan every 16m² for given criteria such as, it fhey allow scripts, building, access or if it is owned by a linden. The output is an ascii map that can be converted to bmp.
that COULD assign a letter to every owner and return an alphabetical ascii map showing every owner of every 16m², but I never needed that version.
The script it is slow because it scans so much and it gives a lot of information that cause lag and can be abused.
