Need Guidance: Profile Pic & Tip Jars Not Cooperating

OK, so I already know that tip jars have their own caches in most cases and I don't think that is the problem in this case because of the fact taht I left the 2nd life pic in place for over 2 weeks and it happened on multiple tip jars as well as welcome board greeters.

I had a friend do a profile pic for me and sent it over in several formats as textures. When they didn't show up on tip jars or welcome boards, then I put the pic I wanted on a prim and took a snapshot of it and dropped that into my profile. Still no dice. So then I reverted to my original 2nd life profile pic, cleared my cache, and double-checked all my preferences, but still no change. I honestly can't figure out what would be preventing my 2nd life profile pic from showing up on tip jars, even when I used a snapshot (4:3 ratio, too).

Any ideas of what I should do to make this work?

At the bottom of your 2nd Life tab in your Profile, there is a checkbox for "Show in Search." This box must be checked for your Profile picture to be grabbed by the various display boards.

I believe the textures in question must be full-permission as well, for both current owner and next owner.

I have has issues updating profile pics too when in the Admin mode.
