Recently I purchased a script that allows me to resize anything I own with MOD rights.
I've tried it a few times and it works great! As a kid av finding backpacks, belts, necklaces, any attachment that fits is a major chore.
However, this script is very complicated to use, rez the item, find the root prim drop the script, take the item back in your inventory, rez a special mat that came with it, re rez the item click the mat click this click that click click click!
Its so frustrating that I now find myself not wanting to use it.
Recently I've been buying shoes with a resize script built in and all I have to do is touch the shoe and the menu falls down and in moments my shoes fit!
So my question is: Does anyone know where this simple resize script comes from so I can buy it?
Thanks much, Handy

Thing is the re-size script is used by designers that do not want to set their items modify. So you could not add the script to a non-mod item any way

So you could not add the script to a non-mod item any way I think the OP likes to use the script even with mod items so that they don't have to use the Build menu. Most of my outfits come with a skirt with the resizer script installed even though they are still mod by using build as well. I do this to make it easier for people that aren't experienced at editing prims. The script that Dilbert linked to is the one I use. It's easy and there is a free version at his shop if it is just for personal use. The one linked to is for creators. Oh and you don't have to find the root prim. If you drag something into a linked object, it automatically goes into the root.

Thank you for replying The link you sent me sounds great and only 200L! Amazing! I do understand that it only works on MOD items, and this might seem odd since I can mod them anyway. But when you have a really small AV (I rp the age of 13-15 so much smaller than most AV's but nowhere near as small as some avs) trying to use the build menu to resize a belt or backpack can be a real chore. Holding down ctrl and trying to use the white boxes to resize the entire thing often fails as its already as small as it will go that way, the only option then is to unlink individual prims and resize them And then link everything back together. And with belts and backpacks you can have over 100 prims pretty easily. I've totally ruined items doing that too. So the script is super nice! Again, thank you all for your replies CHEERS! Handy

Thank you for clarifying that for me Betty- do you know if that would work in extremes? I do some fairy outfits and i am a full sized avie but i have one customer who is a tiny and she loves my stuff- problem is one of us always has to tweak to fit- any input on this?

Hi Amaranthim, the script I uses has no problem going down very tiny, so I doubt this script does either. I think the only limit is the SL imposed limit of how small a prim can go? Either way since you can get a free copy of the script for personal use its worth trying out. Handy

I haven't tired going a lot smaller, but I think the only limit would be if one of the prims in the linkset hit it's minimum size.
