I created some cloths that I want to put up for sale. Stuck them in a posterboard, put them in the contents, click the sell item, set he price and so on but for some reason it's copyable. I logged on with my alt and was able to copy it. What am I doing wrong? I made sure that all the "copy" stuff was clicked off but it's still copyable.

Thanks in advance :-)

Does your alt have mod rights on your stuff?

Hi Shayna,

There's a box in the edit window that says "allow anyone to copy", is that clicked by any chance?

just get someone else to test it for you, if they can copy it then you need to make amendments, usually best to start from scratch, check permissions on the textures and any associated prims.

by the way where are these free textures? :)

These days SL has been a bit messed up and have changed some perms...

Are you sure you have set them no copy?

They are taking away the forums... it could be worse, they could be taking away the forums AND Second Life...

me too. I have one alt used for testing permissions. He does not have mod rights for any other alt.

Hmm, there's nothing really helpful there, but thanks for pasting.

does the box itself have the "Allow anyone to copy" checkbox checked?

If so that could be the problem.

No :-)

I had a friend come by and check everything after I made a few adjustments and she said she could not copy aything. My alt doesn't have copy rights but I'm going to double check. Thanks everyone :-)

Just in case its not clear... there are no "copy rights" you can grant, per se. There are "modify rights", which allow a particular person in your friends list to take your obejcts, or take copy if the object is copiable... This right is granted or revoked through the friends list window, in the communication window, if you are using the official viewer. I'm just correcting your terminology in case it leads you to confusion.
