this isn't so much a request as in "I want someone to make this" as it is a "hey I'm suprised it doesnt exist yet" type thing

I notice SL has plenty of zoos, aquariums, planetariums, art museums, even a couple of air and space museums

but no Natural History museum

would be awesome to wander around one and check out dinosaur fossil prims, or even mannequins with costumes of different times in history (along with artifact prims)

how cool would that be

I second that!

Another thing I wish existed in SL is a full build of the British Museum. This is mostly because I'd love the chance to have a look into all those rooms which are closed to the public.

How about "awesome cool", sis.

In other words, I fully agree with and second the idea.

I think they should have an Unnatural History Museum.

No, Zindra is in the "How not to encourage business growth" museum.

There is a Dinosaurs Park where there are not so much bones as living (or at least scripted ) dinosaurs wandering around. I was a compsognathus there for a time, until I realized beagles get more treats. Worth checking out - the build is a lot of fun with subtle jokes and clever discoveries hidden throughout.

true I've visited it for a bit, but a regular old fossil (and other historic/prehistoric artifact) museum would be cool too

Jesica, I know just the place for you.

Replica of a famous museum in ..... France? .... somewhere in Europe. Plenty of fossil primmage to be found there, mixed in with photo-sourced texturing from the original location in meatspace. You'll even rez in the yard, right under the jaws of the T.Rex fossil (T.Rez? *grin*)

The photosourced halls and foyers can be a little disorienting at first, but after a bit I decided they add quite a lot to the experience.

The parcel is even screened with photos of the surrounding city.

Trust me, she'll love it. I mean, it has a dinosaur exhibition AND a steam punk exhibition!

The only way to top that would be steam punk dinosaurs :P

that is actually EXACTLY what I was looking for, yeah Jen took me to it and it is indeed awesome (yeah some of the rooms are disorienting but I imagine they can redo those rooms more accuratly in the future)
