Freeze at Flashbacks

Sorry if this a FAQ, but since the latest update to the client program I'm getting very slow frame rates (like one every 3 to 5 seconds ) shortly after going to the Flashbacks club. Sometimes I can teleport out, sometimes the SL program seems to freeze. Everywhere else in SL the frame rates are fine.
Is it something on my PC - or a SL issue? Have cleared cache and it's just the same.

PS - maybe nothing to do with the above also noticed that the "online now" number on the log in screen seems to be stuck at something like 73,308.

Periodic freezing has plagued the viewer since they introduced Windlight.

I have been stuck at Flashbacks for several hours and can't leave. I've tried numerous times. When I log in, a few things rez around me then after a few seconds everything freezes and when I click on anything at all, the screen goes black and it says, "Second Life Not Responding." I've tried having someone tp me out but I can't even get the tp invite. I've tried tp'ing home, but again, anything I click on results in the error message. I have never had such a problem anywhere else on the grid, ever.

Please help...any suggestions?

UPDATE: It took at least 30 tries, but I was finally able to get someone to TP me out of there.

Try logging in to a different region, usually works for me

If anything like that ever happens again, Deidra, restart SL, but before you login, use the Preferences menu at the top of the client and set your start location to 'Home'. That will prevent you from relogging back into the area that was causing problems. You can always re-set it to 'my last location' once you're inworld.
