Hello,
with the new viewer 1.20.17, I cannot run SL via multiple windows(instances).
Original shortcut target path on my desktop is: "G:\SecondLife\SecondLife.exe"
It won't let me add the comand "-multiple" anymore.
What can I do?

Are you putting -multiple inside the quotes, or out?

That is what I am using on my Win XP system's shortcut Target. Works fine.

make sure there is a space between the last character and the hyphen before the 'multiple'
