Hello, I bought a 20 meter tv awhile back.....it appears to be made from 2 10 meter prims.......can anyone tell me how they are able to get a full screen across 2 prims?.......or someplace that might discuss the subject? thank you

Split the media texture across the two prims using Repeat 0.5 and Offset of .... 0.35 and 0.75 as I remember. I made a 30x20 floor as a TV once in a strange surreal building I played old black&white comedy movies on it to add the the unreality of it all.

the way i understand it is, media is displayed on "texture" in SL. Or rather the texture is replaced with the media image.
to make a 20 meter tv... they surely just made two prims side by side, then went into the Texture Edit menu and made the texture repeats per face:
0.500 on the horizontal x 1.000 on the vertical
then lower down you change the offset of the first prim to -0.250 and then on the second prim's texture offset to 0.250
now you have one texture.. spanning two prims smoothly... so when media is played it makes use of both prim surfaces.. emm.. if that makes sense.
