Has anyone had trouble running SL with Kaspersky Internet Security? It seems to delay every move I want to make - also freezes at times?

Exclude the Second Life directory from real-time scanning. Otherwise it might be scanning many Gb of textures for no good purpose.

Yeah, definitely exclude SL from its realtime scanning. Also, if you can manage to get voice to work with it, consider yourself lucky. I, and some other people according to JIRA, can't use voice at all when KIS is active due to some unknown conflict.

Thanks people - I'll try that - fortunately I don't used voice so that is not a problem - thanks again.
Actually I am finding Kaspersky a bit of a pain - you never know if it is running or not - the application window sayas it is running - you go to help and when trying to link to something it tells you it is not running and Microsoft Security can't make up its mind if it is running or not - so I don't even know if I am protected.

Sounds about as useful as a tissue paper condom. You can never be sure you're protected.
