Problems with my Windlight viewer...

Heya all, I'm sorry if I'm disturbing... have some probs with my windlight viewer and dunno how to resolve them... One of the problems is that I can't use the Client and Server menus... I'm trying to enable them by pressing Ctrl + Alt + D, all together, but it isn't working... Do you know if there's ay other way to enable them? Or what can be happening?  The other thing is that in my graphic preferences, most of the options are in grey and can't change them... Is there any way to change them so they can be clicked? I upload an screen shot of my graphic preferences... If there's somebody that can help me, I would be really glad... You need to click the custom settings box to unlock the graphics options.

Hmmm...well your preferences look right, but you might want to take a look at the notes that came in the blog a few days ago when they released WindLight. Also, there are known issues with certain graphics cards and SL.....if you haven't got one that can support WindLight, you wont be able to use the extra features. One of my friends just discovred this as he using Intel850(?) Whatever it is...it's less than 900 so he cannot use all the features of Windlight.

Yaaaay Stephen, ty!! That worked!! Just needed to press shift and now I have client and server menus!! Thanks a lot!! Jannae, ty! Anyway I had that option enabled, so can't change them... Milla, ty... I think it's my graphic card, not sure bout it... I'm also using a laptop, so the prob can be that my pc isn't enough for SL U____U I've just tried to upload the drivers, but it says that they are uploaded so nothing to do with that... My graphic card is next one... but have no idea how to change setting on it and all that stuff: Intel(R) 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller Thank you loads!!  |

ive had some problems with mine too.. assuming its the graphics card...
if i click the atmosperic shaders box, everything goes all white... so i can only get the cool water.. not the clouds..
also.. can someone please tell me what post process is?
i had the same problems as joc too about not being able to click some boxes... works now.. but i cant remeber what i did though.. sorry

The extra "shift" is usually for German keyboards....
