Yet Another Gor Comment

I have read several posts on Gor in the past and have had a nice laugh at most of them. Although Im still very curious why they call them Gor places in SL. They are nothing but RP places where the people have made up there own rules. Most if not all of the so called Gor places do nothing by the books. Now granted that is fine by me, SL is a place to do as one pleases (well almost). But come on people, if you want to practice Gor then read the books and do it right. Panthers would of never been seen in a city unless they were on a raid of somesort. Men were above any female no matter what she claimed to be.

I remember walking into a RP place and not having one of there RP tags on (I did not recieve one at the gate) well with the slow rezz in SL I by simple accident bumped into a lil slave girl. Grins....well in the books no big thing, but this girl totally want off her dam rocker and chewed my ass up one side and down the other. I stood there and waited until she was done then said...interesting how you talk to a Free like that while your Master is standing less then 1 foot away from you. But i realize you are RP'ers and do not do anything by the books. Because if this would of happened in a real Gor place you would have been dead at your first word to me. She went on to tell me that because I did not wear a tag I was nothing to her. Interesting that if I was nothing then why even talk to me in the first place. I think you all get my point.

Im in no way knocking RP in SL of any kind, but please if you want to RP Gor do it right. Or at least one place do it right. I myself would love to see a place open that tries there best to follow the books. There are so many RP places dont you think it is time for a REAL Gor place to come in?

And please remember that in no way did I post this to be rude to any lifestyle, I simply wanted to voice my opinion.
