When I log in I always have voice, but most of the time I don't have sounds or music. This morning, I logged in FIVE times before I got sounds. I am on a PC using Vista. Anyone have a clue how to fix this problem?? Linden hasn't replied in over a month after being notified four months ago of the problem. Thanks!!!

Have you tried updating your sound card drivers? What sound card do you have?
Also, this may be a little too obvious, but have you checked your SL preferences, to make sure all types of sounds are enabled, and set to sufficient volume levels? There are about half a dozen different types of sounds in SL, all independently volume-configurable.
