Why? Besides being unaesthetic, I get immersively pixel scalp-chills. Anyone know?

Happens to me too sometimes. I figure my antique video card is the culprit.

This is a bug in the latest SL viewers. I had a photo shoot last night and had a terrible time trying to adjust attachments because I could not zoom close.
Here is the Jira issue. Please go vote to get this fixed. http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-8920 |

I have noticed that if I have on an attachment on my waist (like a belt the tails of my overcoat), when I scroll in to the point they are no longer on screen, my haie goes away. I think it has something to do with how the atachments are culled. That is, when one gets ignored by the graphic engine because it does not need to be rendered, it mistakenly ignores other attachments as well.
In any case, this is a known problem. |

This is what the "hair up the ass" bug turned in to.

Well, in fact, I was sailing
I have the sweetest little trudeau catamaran, and my friend was jibbing the jib, and we were flying along, and all we wanted for perfect photos was our ruddy hair! |

Yesterday, someone added 1.22 Nightly Public to the jira versions affected. If that's correct, then LL's assertion that the problem magically disappears in the next release was wishful thinking. (In our jira comments, both Mal and I suggested that would prove to be the case.)

The bald thing is annoying, but I've noticed that it only happens when I'm on a pose stand. To fix this, I resize my pose stand by stretching it about 2-3x the normal size and the baldness goes away.
