Just an observation. Ever since the openspace sim price hike fiasco made the news our little land rental shop(mostly mainland) has exploded. We were in the doldrums for a few months. Not sure if its people leaving rented openspace sims (seems a bit quick) or maybe the old reliable winter months approaching, always good for SL business. I do see that land SALE prices are still low, starting out at 2.5L. Now that's not good, guess I will keep renting it out instead of selling it.

Hi Cedric,
Karas Trust Rentals has made the same observation. Also noted that parcels for rent near our holdings have been snapped up as well. Most of these were 4096ers for 1600 a week or less.

I'm strictly a minor player in the land biz, and dont' advertise that I do rentals (I don't)---but even I had several people contacting me looking for parcels.
A lot of upheaval in SL, no doubt.
Possibly today's announcement will calm down the situation, once everyone hears of it.
