Anyone have a recommendation? I'm not that swift a builder yet, or I'd just make my own - I really want one that looks good, it doesn't have to be functional.

I have looked high and low for a nice looking flaming sword for an avatar concept I've been working on. I can't find one anywhere! The swords I have found that look nice are no modify, so I can't add a script for flames or whatever, and I did find some full perm sword parts but they wanted 3600 for the prims! I can't afford that.
Anyone have a recommendation? I'm not that swift a builder yet, or I'd just make my own - I really want one that looks good, it doesn't have to be functional. |

What type of sword are you looking for - katana, claymore, rapier, etc.? I've seen a few, but I can't remember the permissions. I remember they were display pieces, so you would have to drop in your animations and script for the flames. I might be able to help if you want to IM me.

Trout: The traditional 'holy sword' type is what I'm wanting - a claymore would be appropriate, but a bastard or broadsord would work better as my ava is petite. I have dual wield flaming swords (flame colour changeable) that also produce smoke. They also sheath on my back and have appropriate animations. I'll have to go inworld to see who makes it, so IM me if you are interested.

Thanks all I remember thinking they looked nice, but they were fairly high prim and I wanted somthing I could swing around, not something to hang on the wall. I'll look through my landmarks when I get home tonight and try to find it. I'l pass it on to you when I do. Your best bet might be to talk to Perwin and she if she'll build you exactly what you want, or if you can buy a sword from her that is the style and has the permissions you want. _____________________
