Yes. THere's at least one hospital where you can be delivered. There are midwives. There are special shapes and skins. There are special pregnancy and child-holding, nursing, etc. animations. There's at least one delivery animation. And yes, the babies are made of prims, very much like the pet dogs you can buy.

If you get the "talking tummy" pregnancy kit, where your tummy constantly tells passersby how it or the baby are feeling, you can let the world know you're pregnant. It may freak them out a bit, but they will DEFINITELY know that you are pregnant.

You should always use protection in SL. You never know when yor SL naughty business will result in an unexpected pregnancy.

If you DO get the guy you've been cyberin preggers, mute him and move.

He was supposed to be on the SLpill anyhow.

Last thing you need is some whiney guy hanging around; all bloated, barefoot and pregnant talking about how you don't find him sexy any more.

To make the long story short: Without an expensive attachment that annoys the heck out of everyone around you, followed by a prim baby that will soon be forgotten in the inventory, there is no way to get your avatar preggers.

Babies, abortion, condom needs etc, are all in Beta

Question:

If your Prim Baby disappears from your Inventory, does it get its pic put on a Milk Carton???

Even more, does that make LL responsible as a Kidnapper??

Having a baby in SL is entirely optional, since no Avatar can directly affect another avatar like that against your will. But if you want to go through a pregnancy, you can.

I did it recently, since it seemed a logical consequence of all the interactions my SL Partner and I had enjoyed together, and since we wanted to share that experience.

The only thing I bought was an animation for holding the prim baby in a breastfeeding position. A friend made me a prim baby fox kitling (I'm a Kitsune, an anthro fox, so of course my baby is a baby fox). Mostly my 'prim baby' is just a baby fox head with the body swaddled in a blanket. It's a prim doll to hold, and doesn't do anything but blink her eyes. I made my own slider set changes in the Appearance control panel. First I saved my normal shape, then I adjusted the sliders to show about 5 different stages for pregnant appearance. Over the course of several months I always wore the progressive series of pregnant shapes, so my tummy got bigger. If people asked, I mentioned I was pregnant. When 'the day' came, I reverted to my normal shape, set up a prim crib (that I also made) in my home, and carried the prim baby around for a few weeks afterwards.

Since neither my mate nor I wanted to deal with diaper changes and having a toddler avatar in SL, the avatar I created as an alt, to be my daughter, was set up as a 14 to 18 year old in appearance (a young adult for a Furry). We roleplayed that she had been raised in another realm with the other Kitsune. That alt will, like most 'child avatars' in SL, remain quite celebate, and will be used only for G-rated 'family roleplay' until I decide to age her to over 18.

So...is breast feeding ok in public ?? (Babies, I mean !!)

Depends on the sim, I suppose. If a bare breast in public is OK, then breastfeeding probably is. If in doubt, ask the property owner, as with any behavior.

I cant possibly get a girl preggers in sl Im all out of prims so all those millions of sperm are a definite no no

Hiya, I had a few crazy months in sl & have three sl brats, twins + one other ... I did get sick of the tummy talkers though & deleted them both times, keeping them on mute is best so only you read it, not everyone else, tho at first it's a novelty thing & you keep it set to normal

If you need to know anything feel free to IM me, basically you go to a clinic, pay for a pregnancy program, they mod your shapes so each week you change it & look more preggy, then the waters break cause of the tummy talkers & you go to the clinic or home & have the brat/s .. it does look real & is quite scary lol amazing how real sl can get

Then you mess about with it for a few months before forgetting about it lol mine rarely come out

It's fun to do just as something different I guess & I was curious, just like people get sl married or buy their homes/cars/clothes they'd want in r/l I have dogs & kids I couldn't have irl, it helps abit, weird I know but not something you can understand until you do it
