Do you have a question regarding the appropriate way to deal with said griefers? Answer: AR them, and ask other people affected to AR them too. Be brief and factual, not emotional. If LL responds that the situation has been resolved but it's not, AR again. Repeat as necessary, but do not be excessive.

For entertainment value, why don't you tell us what they are doing? Is it the same old screaming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Or are you getting flying senior citizen gay porn?

I've been having griefers at my land for the last two days. The first day screaming ninja turtles and yesterday constant shouting something about terror and someone giving objects. I reported to Dreamland support and they said they would take care of it.

The person who tried to gave me the objects was around and I talked to him and he said he couldn't help it, it was something scripted in his inventory that did this. Could that be possible?
Also there were a few objects from him on my land allthough I restricted the access to my land. How could he have done that?

What is AR, Reporting I presume. With Linden? And with whom at LL?

If you look at the Help menu in-world there is a Report Abuse option. It helps to have a snapshot if at all possible, and just write in the details of the abuse.

You will receive an email letting you know they got it, and sometimes a follow up saying it's been resolved with a link to the blotter.

One of the things that sets off griefing objects is when someone naively rezzes an object they have been given. So sometimes the seeming owner of a griefing object is not really the griefer, just someone very naive. Also, you can't read too much into what is listed as the creator of an object, because someone could have taken an object made by someone else, that had full perms on it, and recycled it to nefarious means. I have also seen an attack that had a famous person listed as the owner, and somehow I don't believe it, but think it was some type of a hack, though I don't know how.

An item still in someone's inventory couldn't try to give you an object, but an item that was still rezzed somewhere could do it, even if the person who rezzed the original replicating object was completely unaware of the copy.

Fortunately, objects can be muted if they're trying to give you something.

AR is Abuse Report and is an option in the viewer menus. It brings up a little window you can fill out and send in. I remember a period of a few months where there would be grid wide replicator attacks almost every Sunday afternoon on the mainland. This led to the fence against gray goo attacks.

I think a lot of the particle attacks we are seeing these days are just random childishness, and if a lot of people report them, it may make it easier for LL to chase down the sources.

An amusing single player game developed by Linden Lab for use in the virtual world of Second Life. The player is assaulted, pestered, or otherwise annoyed by a monster known as a "griefer". These monsters have an almost unlimited number of attacks, can re-spawn as completely different shapes, and some of their weapons can crash entire sims.

Lol, yep even Land owners reserve the right to any greifer on their land, even when they aren't there. Orbit a griefer, you become a griefer, freeze, eject , ban someone because you don't like their looks and it's responsible land management.............

It's possible to create an item that's 99% one person and to have the creator show up as another person. I won't get into the details because, while there are legitimate uses (ex:I use sculptie gems in my jewelry that I did not create- but I did create the design and the non sculpties so I feel it's fair to call it my work. Similar to using someone elses textures- presuming of course that you get them legit) there are also griefing uses.
