I wish SL time was shown on my dashboard, this would help when viewing the events listed for the day.

That's a good idea. Try submitting a Jira as an enhancement request for the web site.

Second Life Time is Pacific Time, so I've never given this issue much thought. It makes good sense though.
Speaking of time issues, here's one for you: SLT is the "official" time in-world; yet group notifications always show the time they were sent in relation to GMT instead of SLT. This scheme would make sense if we were talking about real-world events; but since most group notices announce in-world events, the messages being time-stamped in relation to GMT only serves to foster confusion. It's even worse when you're like me, having to click through fifty of the damned things at my first login of the day - and I don't know if the event announcements I'm clicking away have already occurred or will occur soon. _____________________

The Pacific v. GMT problem with group notices has been posted in the JIRA at least twice, and the last time I checked, both entries were marked as RESOLVED.
How the hell they think this is resolved is beyond me. |
