I thought I heard about this before, but for the life of me cannot figure out if or how it can be done, searching here turned up nothing either...

Is it possible to change the layer that clothing sits at? For example, if i have a piece that is the undershirt layer, is it possible to edit it to make it into the shirt layer, etc.?

TIA,
PJ

so what Rhaorth means PJ is that it is unfourtunately only posibel if you make a NEW item with the desired layer using the set texture in a new layer. Layers as such cant be altered.

which comes back to ONLY if you have the textures that were used to make the clothing the first time

not sure why you felt the need to explain something that was already answered

I assumed that the op was at least smart enough to known what... needing the textures means

*shrug*

You can try asking the clothing creator for the same dress on a different layer.
