My partner has just finished her first house build - but all 86 prims are showing to her as copy/no mod/no transfer (and to me as mod/no copy/no transfer but I have full edit rights on her objects).

Anyone know why this should be? And what - if anything - she can do to restore the perms?

Im wondering if you by any chance textured her objects?

Maybe you put a no mod texture on one of her prims?

Or a script?

nope...... I did give her a locking/hinge script, but it was never linked to any of the build at any time.

Update: she did IM her builders' group - apparently there is an intermittent bug causes this? Anyone any knowledge?

This is the case for *all* 86 prims individually, unlinked? (Of course--*if* it's linked--she can't unlink it since it's no-mod to her, but maybe you can.) I've seen something kinda like this happen when someone other than the owner shift-drags a copy--it's the copy that gets left behind, the original that is dragged--that left-behind copy will be owned by the person who performed the copy, with next-owner perms applied. But this particular combination of permissions seems unusual to me. It would be great if it turned out that the whole thing is still linked and only one of the prims really had this restriction, perhaps due to a texture or script or other object-inventory item.

Otherwise, now would be a handy time for a constructive use of copybot, but I'm not sure anyone will volunteer that. If all else fails, I wrote a couple scripts that can clone the prims except for the actual textures (it does the repeats and offsets, just not the textures); it's moderately labor-intensive (stuff has to go in each prim, and then when it's done, everything has to be textured), but it's easier than starting from scratch. (I use it to pass the "Creator-ness" of builds between alts, so it should work as long as somebody has mod perm on all the prims.) Leave me an IM in-world if it comes to this. (Probably many scripters have resorted to something like this, too; it's not exactly rocket-science.)
