Ok, I don't understand how the auctions work. I know for a fact that there are some certain parcels being auctioned, cause, you can click the parcel, it's Governor Linden Land and it has an auction ID. So, how do you find it, in the auction? When I put the sim name or auction ID # in Search, it turns up nothing. I searched in US Dollars, Lindens, still nothing. I searched in Just Listed, ends today and ends soon. Still nothing. Does it take awhile for the parcels to show up in auction even though they have auction ID numbers? And it seems there are only a very few actual auctions going on? Like, 27 listings for Lindens and 9 listings for US dollars? Why so few?

At one time, it could take a week or so before land marked with an auction reference actually got into the auction pages. It might take even longer these days.
So 1) Keep watching the auction pages 2) Maybe raise a support ticket to say that you are interested in the parcel and could they pretty please push it into the list.

if you have land on at least 3 sides of the parcel you could even ask for the land to be sold directly to you, it is also posible to convince the person handeling your ticket to sell it directly to you if you border only on one side if you have a very good story but the rule was and I think still is that you need to border the parcel on 3 sides

Treasure I just bought land in Misto nexto to TF that had been abandoned. The Linden that handledd it told me to keep watching and it would show--- it did not. I searched with the number and nothing. But when i searched with the region name - Misto Presto- the land came up - on the VERY LAST DAY OF THE AUCTION!!! So go search under name in case you miss it! It was close for me -

You have to watch the auction pages daily. It's the only way. Parcels are listed for 48 hours and roll at 3pm Eastern time. If you think a parcel will be popular get your bid in early and make your bid the maximum you want to go to. The bid will start out at whatever the minimum bid is and will only increment in response to other bidders which it will automatically outbid by 10L until you hit your bid limit. If this happens you'll get an alert email and you can go back and up your bid, if you so wish. Parcels 512 and larger will (almost always) go to auction. Linden owned parcels smaller than this (there is a lot of reclaimed ad land) may be sold directly to you for 1L/sq m if you have a good claim. This usually means you have two or more sides of adjoining land. Put in a support ticket under Land and region issues, Land parcel issues, Buying land and reference the location and maintenance as the owner. At busy times it can take a couple of weeks to be processed but I've had such tickets turn around in a couple days. Good luck Rime

Regarding land with auction numbers: they can languish like that for over a year. There is a *lot* of abandoned land and auction earmarked land out there. It is trickled into the auction process so as not to further devalue land prices which are already pathetic.
If it has been hanging around a while you can possibly expedite to to the queue by putting in a ticket as I described before but stating 'I would like the opportunity to purchase this land through the auction process.' May or may not get it kicked up the queue, but worth a shot.
Unless you want a particular parcel that is being auctioned you can most likely find something as nice or better for cheaper on the open market. Use the in world search tool for land sales.

Yeah, if you search on the auction page, and it isn't found, it isn't for sale yet it's only in line.
