I noticed that tonight too in a few spots, huge numbers of selected/sat upon prims that stayed that way, without the ghosting problem that sometimes happens. I found that flying out and selecting everything on the parcel myself, then unselecting, put things back to normal. No idea what happened there, but apparently no harm done.

Noticed that on my land info tab 2 days ago too (mine was 599 sat on). Only thing I can think of is I threw out a few fog generators for effect and maybe the temp fog prims are getting misread somehow.

Be buggered if I can remember where I saw it, but there is a specific reason they show as Selected/Sat Upon. It was such a long time ago, I can't recall what it was.
I do remember, though, that it's not because you have 486 chairs.

I had 1500 sat upon the other day - a simulator restart solved it, but obviously this only works if you are on an island sim

Same here, I noticed this happening all over my sim late last week. On some parcels, more than half of the prims showed up as 'selected / sat upon'. A restart of the sim corrected the issue.

My "about land" was showing a large number of selected/sat upon objects the other day, too. Yesterday when I logged in everything was back to normal. I just shrugged it off and figured it was a glitch that would straighten itself out, and it did. I'm not sure, though, if the Sim was restarted between my log-ins.
