I've noticed this for a while and it has been consistant with every SL update..... But it's not so terrible that I can't just deal. Still, is this happening to anyone else....

When I first log in....if my AV is wearing pants (or even body oil as 'pants' layer) the texture will extend and flare out well below the cuff line, in a flesh tone. It's as if the pants have been edited out to longest and widest bell bottoms, but as skin. Rebake does not correct it........the only thing that does is to put on another pair of pants. LOL It's very odd, and annoying but not critical. Anyone seen this or know it as a 'regular' bug?

Yes, it is. It's more like the system doesn't render the pants correctly, so you wind up with either the flesh toned bell-bottoms or the very tight pantlegs.

Hmmm - I have the opposite but similar problem. Wearing flared or bell bottomed pants (I don't do this very often) keeps their shape even when I put on new unflared ones. It makes boots very hard to wear.

I also have skin tones on the inside of the pants so if I happen to have my feet propped up, the pant legs look weird. Putting on black socks cures that problem. I guess thats a universal thing.

Another way to fix is to go to appearance and edit the pants if you have mod rights. Shorten then lengthen them back out.

Ok....so it's 'normal' LOL Editing the pants has never corrected it for me...I always have to put on a nee pair. It's especially fun if I'm wearing body oil as a pants layer and the 'skin' on my legs is flared out like pants......ew LOL
