AV wanted. Yes I have an Alt who I fondly call "sad biatch" mainly because she gets my mains cast off's and stuff like that. Won't tell you what I use her for but I have decided that it's time to let her be a bit wild. I was talking to someone who had an amazingly ghoulish AV and I've also seen the sweetest little old lady AV floating around doing her knitting. Now it may seen silly but since they were both in RP areas it seemed rude to ask where they bought their AVs from. Tried looking and failed miserably to find them inworld so does anyone have any suggestions. Just thing that freak standing next to you looking at a cute little skirt might just be me

In my experience IMs are regarded as out of character and irrelevant to the ongoing story. I think you could ask them. .

Just thing that freak standing next to you looking at a cute little skirt might just be me There are some "little old lady" avatars available in Tableau, though it might take some looking. They're kinda off the beaten path there. If you feel uncomfortable asking folks in RP area, consider the following: Send an IM and note it as out of character (OOC). Perhaps put your IMs test in double quotes (()) to signify that it is OOC, or check the area's rules to see what their take on OOC chatter is. Do an inspect: find a prim attachment on the avatar and right click, then more, then inspect. You can get the creator information this way. Mari

Normally in a RP area I would have sent a IM however no prims on him to click and nothing in his Profile. Can still send him a IM however when someone has something so different your never know how they will take it that someone else will be walking around possibly just like them. Although even I wouldn't let Sad Biatch look that bad. sorta fond of her really.
The thing about the old lady is she was soooo sweet it just seemed plain rude and yet again!!! noting in her profile and a prim check took me to a AV shop with plain ordinary skins!
Sigh, all I want to do is make people zoom in on me without having to resort to flashing, again.

Basically you just need to search for aged skin....I've seen a few different venders who carry them, but none I can recall the names of (sorry) and then you create the shape that suits the look you want. Or you find some kind of funky grunge skin.....again....not really difficult to find. And, again, the shape you create will make the avatar either attractive or not. If ya want help....I'm pretty good at creating specific 'looks' with shapes and pairing them with the right skins. It's sort of a hobby of mine in SL. You shouldn't need to spend crazy L's on an entire avatar because what you're describing is really just a matter of morphing a shape & skin properly.

Wrigglesworth's at the Tableau sim has some marvelous, whimsical/humorous elderly people avatars. For a very classy, non-cartoony older-woman look, check out Brazen Women, which has a really nice line of shapes and skins that give the appearance of a woman in her 50s or 60s.

Search for DarkDharma .
DarkDharma's Avatar Isle @ Dacia 228, 29, 23.
From the landing point, proceed around the path to your right. Soon you will see the Senior Citizen's Center off to the right down by the water. She has some pretty nice work. Full Avis for ~ < $L800 .
