Forgive me for imposing on the good will of the forum for a totally self-centered and misplaced question: I'm looking for a particular shop. Specifically, I'm looking for a lamp it sells. But I have only a vague verbal picture to offer you!

It's a small dark shop, a nicely done rundown shack, on its own parcel. The lamp is a fanciful hanging lamp with translucent prettily shaped glass and a very nice glow/particle system, lovely in dark places. There are a couple of different versions of the lamp for sale. The shop has very few things in it and they are oddly assorted batch of stuff - some modern chairs and just a few other things. Very nicely done stuff, good textures. There are a few odd and interesting things outside, including a little lawn area to the left of the doorway (and, I think, small porch?).

It is the sort of shop that one might find in Tableau, if you know that sim. But it is not in Tableau.

Ideas?

I think you had better appeal to St. Anthony on this one ;)

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

YES!!! I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!

Finally had time last night to check. Koko, you rule! Thank you!

We need some lights for a slightly fantasy, definitely old-fashioned environment, and I am SO tired of flames. Yuki's "pixielights" and HPMD's lamps are both winners!

I just cannot believe you nailed it from that description.

Oh, I know about RL stepping all over time :) No worries, and glad that it was the place. The reason I remember that place so well is that I saw the lights at a Japanese store, and tracked down the creator, who did not have them up for sale at the time, but marked them for sale in her little house/shop just because I begged/pestered.. :)

*hugs* So glad that worked out!

p.s. Nika, your PM's are full.. ^_^ But was just sending what I posted here, so no worries.

*snuggles Brenda also, just cause*

Hmmm first time in ages I have felt the urge to go shopping.
Good thing RA isn't shut down and the new rules being enforced in the new borum flogs because mentioning specific merchants or products are forbidden under the new rules. :(
