Searching for RL artists

Hey there, are there any RL artists in the forums?

i am organizing a community art exhibition hall, and we are looking for talented RL artists who would like to be spotlighted in our center, for no fee at all....

anyone interested?


Also does anyone know if there are any SL art forums somewhere?

I've not heard about any SL art forums, but there is a Gallery network of sorts with a blog here: http://sl-artgalleries.blogspot.com/

You'll probably find more artists than you need in world depending on your criteria. SL seems to be just oozing with them of all sorts and skill levels.

I have been involved in the arts community and in displaying art works (for my private and semi-public display) for many years in sl.

I suggest you join the Art and Artists Group where you can access advertizing and announcements.

(I will add that some very committed galleries have gone the way of the dinosaur recently but I am sure you will find an agent or a display opportunity somewhere. I do suggest an agent - just as in reality. I use an agent in real and have never regretted it; if you can find one here who is committed to you then the agent's fee is well worth while)

I exhibit disabled artists, regularly on Cape Able. Different modes, photography, oils, watercolors, sculptures. I'm not sure of your definition of 'RL' artists. Do you mean people that create their art in RL and upload to SL? Or people who make art for a living in RL? Not sure what your criteria is, here. I'd be happy to give you lots of names if I was sure what you were looking for, exactly.
