Windows Vista 64 Comcast Cable 70mb Internet
I was logged in to SL and went to a lot to ask a girl a question about upgrading. After she answered my question she banned me from the region. I went to shop around and found a nice skin. After I added L$ to my account and purchased the items; I asked my friend to teleport me to her. She did and when I tried to access her region, it said I was banned from the region. After a minute of trying, I was disconnected and this is the message I keep getting when I attempt to log in.
"We're having trouble connecting. There may be a problem with your Internet connection or the Second Life servers.
You can either check your Internet connection and try again ina few minutes, click Help to connect to our support site, or click Teleport to attempt to the teleport home."
Was I banned from second life? I didn't do anything wrong but ask someone a question.

It's been known to muck things up all over people's computers. When I purchased this computer two years ago, my husband uninstalled Vista and replaced it with Word.

From: Rasecel Masatada my husband uninstalled Vista and replaced it with Word. That simplifies things I suppose, running without an operating system. I guess it's the return of the dedicated word processor. Somehow all SL threads involve the discussion of a Wang. To the op, I'd start with turning off your computer system, the modem, router, etc. Are you on a wireless connection? Getting banned from a sim doesn't mean you get banned from Second Life. If you are really and truly banned from logging into SL you would probably not be able to log in to the forums, at least I think that is how it's supposed to work.
