Hi,
I wanted to make an alt, and I was wondering how to do it properly?
It says that the first basic account is free, but an additional costs like 9.95 $ or something. I know I could just put in some random info or whatever, but I want to do it the proper way, and pay for it, and that way I wont get into trouble. I tried finding how to do it, but I cant seem to find where to make my alt.
Do I just make a new account with the same information I used for other account?

Old info. Each additional account is free. You can have up to five going to the same email address before LL starts getting testy about it.

Generally, yes. I have 4 or 5 alts that use the same credit card for payment info, though only my main account ever transfers funds in or out of SL once they are validated as having payment info.

As an addendum, it was thre first thing I did when setting up my alt -- that is I did it as soon as I could because I wanted him to show payment info on file as Ceera suggests.

Two handy hints...

Find yourself in search and become friends. Makes transferring money, clothing, etc easier, if you don't have to search for yourself all the time.

Give modify rights to yourselves, both of you can play with the items that you've rezzed.

hey!

ive made my "sister" premium yesterday
i use paypal and have had no problem, but yes i was nervous as hell when pushing the submit button

i now have 2 sl files on paypal (different limits)
my main account with all islandfees booked
and
my alt account with her annual membership

and yes i feel much better to have paymentinfo used on her file now.
all objects created by myself are stored with my alts inventory - sort of backup - she has full permissions. call me stupid but i love er.

And once you've reached your 5 acct/email address limit, just go ahead and make more email accounts and you can have an unlimitied amount of Alts.

That's what the bot runners do.

Creating an alt is simple. You can have 5 alts on one email address (as per ToS). You would just register your alt, and age verify it, in the same way you had your main account. Provide all the RL details etc. You may use the same payment information on multiple accounts.
