Ok... So, I have been in SL awhile. I have been building for quite some time. This has never happened to me before.
I was working on a (complicated) texture job on a prim... got it to where I wanted it to be. Clicked out of Edit. The prim started a little dance.... and left?? Gone. Cant find it on the sim..anywhere. It LOOKED like it was moving down.. but, just vanished.
Not a scripted prim btw.
So... um.. wtf just happened?

Was it possibly turned physical? Even on accident?
I've had this happen, but not the disappearing part - however, on any kind of a slope, a prim turned physical can get away quickly.

Maybe the prim was tired of being taken advantage of. Sitting peacefully, suddenly it's day is turned a nightmare, being pushed and pulled, twisted and textured by an ungrateful mouse?
But on a less serious note, I have noticed quite a few building related problems lately. Not major ones, just frustrating little things.

I have run into this check and see if it became flexible...or physical.
SL has been very odd recently today was the worse.
Tps, search loading but not working.... entire prims vanishing

two days ago the same thing happened to me, I click on a rezzed cube and poof! vanished! I am on a sandbox so I just thought auto-return, but was suspicious has I was certain it was a newly rezzed cube, but no, nowhere to be seen. I have no idea if ever turned up later, I get a few cube prims in my found and return folder daily.
