Windlight First impression

Got the new Windlight version of SL this am.

Maybe I not understanding the piont of it, yes I know it is to do with the Sky on my screen, but all the other things have me puzzled.

Regarding my picture it seems just a shade darker.
The first thing I noted was the music it seems a lot louder.

I've ended up now with 2 versions of SL programme.
The thing with this Windlight my settings have gone back right to the begining and it treats me as a newbee in giving me prompts as what to do or happening. Also changed features such as the Search and TP from a Landmark.

To me it would have been better if Linden had put the revised features into the programme I was useing, will they be doing so, I'm thinking of going back.

Do we know what Lindens intentions are?

The Windlight makes its own cache and program files folder. It is separate from your regular one, so you must reapply all of your settings for it. To make the sky and water look better, go into the graphics section of preferences and adjust the slider that says Low Medium High Ultra to whatever your computer can handle.

THANKS ! I will have to try out Windlight. I have seen some amazing pics. If there is any lag, am I right to assume it is all client side?
