OK! I have my winamp downloaded, I have my shoutcast plugin downloaded but what I wam supposed to be entering as the output ip addy??? I am watching a video that the guy says it's second life's address so the music plays in second life??? please help

This is typically a web host, like one of the stream rental services provided inworld. _____________________

If you are using an external radio broadcasting server, use the url of that server. Otherwise, use 127.0.0.1
SL will either use the url of that external broadcasting server, or else the url of your home PC. For bandwidth reasons, using your home PC is not usually recommended, unless you have a 100 mb connection, such as is standard in Japan. _____________________

I'm' with the OP on this one; WHERE in WinAmp do I enter this stuff? There are a gajillion plugins, etc. Should I be editing the DNS plugin? If so, which of the FOUR tabs do I need to edit? And how? I've got an http: addy; where does it go? I see 2 different places....

I've got an http: addy; where does it go? I see 2 different places.... You enter the information in the DSP Plugin. The DSP Plugin is the encoder. Do not use http:// protocol when entering the information - just use the digits or the domain name. _____________________
