Newbie here ...

When I first appeared Inworld I was doing the usual SL Duck Walk until I came across a freebie AO sexy walk which could be worn permanently.

However, this walk is far too extreme for my AV so I found, and bought, a much more suitable walk ... but it has to be "played", not "worn".

Is there any way to make this my default, permanent wallk?

Also ... I've started collecting other animations which suit my av (standing, sitting, dancing etc) and am wondering how to switch smoothly between them?

Thanks for any help .... :)

You need to put them all into an AO (Animation Overrider). There's a good, illustrated tutorial on doing that here:

There's a newer version of the ZHAO available now; it looks as though the blog author used the older one, but both of them work just as well. Whichever one you get, they both contain instruction notecards to help you out.

The cool thing about ZHAO is you can replace every animation with a new one. You can put as many different standing and sitting poses as you like and ZHAO will cycle through at random or at preplanned intervals. You can also have more than one walk you can easily switch between by a menu.

It looks a tiny bit daunting at first, because you must drag each animation into the device and type their names into a note card. But it's well worth the few minutes it will take to figure out the easy, well written instructions that come with it.

And it's free!
