Ok, I have made an alt and I need to get her some "freebie" things.. (smile attachment) and other odds and ends you can pick up on Xstreet... OK I "thought" that now you just went ahead and used xstreetsl using your avatar, no worries right?

I cant... and it send me to a registration page, and of COURSE using my email results in "already registered"....

Was I mistaken when I "heard" or read.. it was easy to shop because you just use your already entered info??

I am a bit confused.

Tarina, use a different email account to register your alt at XStreet. If you don't have one, create a gmail or hotmail account. Or most ISPs will let you create multiple email addresses.

You could just "Buy As Gift" and sent it to your alt.

I just tried, it doesn't work for me... I only have the buy, not buy as gift available.

I think that anyone you buy a gift for also has to have an XStreet account. At least, I was unable to send a gift to my alt when I tried it a while back.

That, thank the primal cause, was the first thing LL changed when they bought XStreet. You can send a gift to any SL resident now.

Not sure I understand? I buy as a gift all the time because I have two av's and I'm just too lazy to log in. Does it not work for L$0 items? I'm sure I've done that but I could be nuts.

Correct, it does not work for L$0 items. The button "buy as gift" is not available in that case.

It's strange. That is my experience as well. But for a while I had a freebie item available, and occasionally I'd see somebody buy it for someone else. I couldn't figure out how they did it.
