Problem with a wardrobe malfunction

One of my character's shirt clothing pieces (that previously worked for her just fine for at least a week) has spontaneously stopped working correctly. When worn, it will, at most, display the blur that happens when it's trying to reload an avatar's appearance, but once the appearance is fully loaded, it displays as if the top isn't there (in this case, leaving my avatar topless). I've asked other people if it's displaying nude to them, and it is. I've already tried clearing my cache. It's cheap enough that I just bought a new copy of the top (it's no copy), and it immediately suffered from the same problem. The other colored versions of that top that I have work just fine.

Anyone have any suggestions on what might be wrong and how I can go about fixing this?


Nevermind. Someone helped me online and told me how to rebake textures, which fixed it.

for anyone who does not know how to rebake...

first make sure the advanced menu is open (it will be next to the help menu) if it is not open use ctrl alt D (or in some cases ctrl alt shift D) to open it

then use ctrl alt R to rebake the textures.
