I try to start my game and it says my video cards are not supported, out of date, or did not install properly. What is going on and how do I fix it? I have the required stuff I think.

That probably sums it up pretty well.

However, there are probably some things you can do to maybe (keyword there.....MAYBE) help you out. But as is stands right now, everyone is just as mystified as you. You see, we don't have a clue to even work with. :)

Some system specs, the operating system you are using, your video card or accellerator, how much RAM you have, type of internet connection, networked or not (wired or wireless), laptop, desktop, and the SL client version is helpful too. Plus any more information you might think will help.

Got to help us help you, you know? :)

Go here -

http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest

- and select "Second Life" from the dropdown. You may have to install a small browser component for the test to run (which you can easily remove afterwards) but it will tell you whether your system is capable of running Second Life and which areas may give you problems (some of which you might be able to alleviate by lowering the graphics settings if you can get inworld, etc).

That's a pretty old video card. Though no one can say for sure I think you are going to have problems with that card..........but, I'm sure someone will come along who has the same card and runs SL just fine.

I'd be looking for a new card myself...........something in the 7000 (or later) series for nVidia. But that depends on how much you think SL is worth.

You might try going to the nVidia site and getting the latest drivers.

I took the liberty of searching for your driver. The most recent is this one. I assumed you are running Windows XP.
