Anyone who has played that, how hard would it be to make a Heavy avatar? I wish I could be the heavy, and have all the heavy's quotes as gestures.. it might be a bit too complex though.

There's actually a freebie avatar that gets you close - I think it's called SL Fireman or something. You could monkey with the sliders a little. Then make the clothes and weapons and people who were familiar with the game would get it. As for the gestures and other animations, I don't see why it would be harder than any other animations. They aren't easy by any stretch, but those aren't any more difficult than other ones.

I've actually been contemplating this for some time...

Since I'm unemployed now, and consider myself a somewhat rabid TF2 fan, I might just have to plunk my duff down and get to making SLTF2 avs. I would like to sell them to make a few extra L$, but let me contact Valve first about that, just so I get legal clearance. If they say I can't sell them, I'll see if I can give them away for free. If I can't do that, I'll ask if it's okay for one to make it for one's own avatar... in which case I'll share instructions on how to make it. If they say no to that, then a pox on them! I'll just record my own sounds (I do a fair to middlin' impression of the heavy) and run around all day making fun of Valve with them!
