My old freebie sailboat and my wave runner no longer operate in Havok 4. Any good boats still left to purchase?

Well all Trudeau boats recently got a version upgrade to work better with Havok 4. I have a few other boats but I haven't received any other notices of upgrades.

Might want to be testing boats in the Beta Grid to see what Mono's going to do to them.

The sailing clubs are all still racing their Takos, Fizzs and Big Boats, so I assume most boats work as well in Havok4 as they ever did. If you have a bunch of questions about sailing, maybe try the general discussion forum at the SL Sailing Federation: http://slsailing.org/forum/index.php

The Flying Tako is still the defacto standard, they are not free but quite cheap. I've been using mine for years... except if you want something fast and fun the Flying Fizz is the way to go. My Tako has since been relegated to taxi status when you need to ship a few avies around as the Fizz can only hold two.
The fizz has animations so you really feel like you are sailing - indeed your weight affects the way the thing moves so you have to shift around to get the best trims. Wicked fun! Of course you need to go to sims where they are sailing friendly there's plenty around. Where I live in Otherland we have a no ban lines policy so sailors can explore about 100 sims without bumping into anything... well except for islands of course |
