Ok so I am a member of the group which I made and am the sole owner however I am unable to perform any functions such as send a notice, invite new member..... Can anyone explain to me what is going on and how I fix it........

Did you check all of the appropriate boxes to allow yourself to do that?

Well, but if she's the Owner, she would have had to *uncheck* boxes *not* to have those abilities. Assuming she didn't... gee, I don't think it actually matters what role one chooses to have active (does it?), but I guess you could make sure your active role is "Owner" or maybe "Officer" (not "Everyone"  and see if it helps. If it doesn't (and I don't think it will), then you may have to file a support ticket; groups can break themselves in ways only LL can fix.
