Could anyone tell me if a club has to be built on commercial land please, or could it go on a residential plot?...does this change according to whether its mainland or estate?
Thanx in advance for any replies

On mainland, a club can be built anywhere.
On private sims they can be built on Commercial land and, if I'm not mistaken, once in a while an owner will give permission to build one on Residential land. _____________________

For most mainland there is no rules and you can build whatever you want. For estates you have to check with the owner of the estate of what they allow.

Thanx in advance for any replies To be seriously successful a club is a place where someone with deep rl pockets pours money beginning with $295 per month for a full island to handle the load. Then they pay people to run it. And maybe try to get a part back in mall stall rentals. If a club breaks even then it is doing well and providing entertainment to SL. "Mainland Clubs" are viewed as cancerous tumors by most people because they almost always have a bunch of parasitic bots using scarce mainland region resources to falsify traffic and limiting region use by legitimate residents. This is because mainland regions are limited to 40 avatars total. |
