Today, 3/14, is Pi Day! At 1:59, wherever you are, eat some pie and count your blessings! Congress recognizes Pi Day http://blog.actonline.org/2009/03/all-hail-the-pi.html(Can anyone tell I like math?) With all the turmoil and nonsense in the forums over the last day or so, let's take a minute to stretch our brains and have a little fun - and enjoy a tasty treat! Pi Day has quite a history, and is celebrated by some fairly distinguished institutions. Learn more about Pi and Pi day at http://www.piday.org/

From: Rioko Bamaisin Why doesn't cheese cake have it's own day? If cheesecake had mathematical significance ... ... oooh, wait, cheesecake is ROUND. I suppose it's an acceptable alternative!

That would have to have been 1:59 AM right? Your original post was late.

We also recently passed a square day 03-03-09. They only come around every few years. They next one will be 04-04-16.
These dates will be very different in European countries where the month and day are reversed from the US system.
