Land & Rules

I am looking for rules governing land, But have not had much luck in finding anything on it.
I'm Speceificly looking for info on weather or not people can build large walls obstructing the view of an avatars, home or buisness.

I searched the main TOS & community guidelines but had no luck.

If it's mainland your kinda out of luck. Private estates usually have covenants against such blatant eyesores.

Yes you can.

This is not RL where you have Servient and Master parcels and a right to not have your unobstructed view blocked.

If someone builds something totally craptastic next to you - put up a wall, slap an inviso prim script into it and *poof* all that build on the other side of the wall you did not want to see will go bye bye.

With one exception.

It is against TOS to block the view from someone else's parcel with intent to force them to buy YOUR parcel in order to restore their view.

If done for other reasons, including just not liking what is on the other parcel, it is permitted.

It depends upon how many sides of your parcel the view is blocked.

I have a similar issue and am blocked on 4 sides, no one can see my shop.
