I have no clue why I can't login..
My wife and I both play Sl.. most times never leaving our sim. We were on lastnight playing one of the Jaded games on our sim.. only to try and login today and get the "Login failed. Secondlife cannot be accessed from this computer."
No notices of anything for either of us. Our accounts say active on the SL website.. we just can't login from this 'computer' yet we have 2 desktops and a laptop that all get the same error..
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance Wow this is getting to be some kind of trend? (see another current thread same problem). IP ban? Hate it when innocent people get stuck in those, just because someone else is a bad apple. Did you call/file a support ticket?

I can't find the number to call them. I'm guessing it was an Ip Ban, but as to why.. your guess will be as good as mine. lol If it's a new trend, that really sucks. Just one more thing to add to my list of reasons not to login and just play another game. =/ Thanks for the quick reply Treasure, glad to know it's not just me.

Sometimes this can be cleared by restarting your modem and/or router. Worth a try anyway.

Being that I have a dynamic IP when the modem reset it obtained a new IP. I'm wondering if the work on the cities network grid by the ISP made my modem obtain a banned IP and I just didnt notice.. anyway, thanks it works for now.

I have had them do an 'oops' and ban my computer twice so far. The most they will tell me is it has nothing to do with me so, yes, I am thinking ip-range ban and I must be lucky enough to have a # close to a griefer.
