I can only describe it since the people who wear it either won't tell me who made it or they don't speak English.
I have seen a man wearing one and one of the stands walks around on one spot in a circle, the female one i have seen looks kind of cutesy a neko girl was wearing it it bends over frontwards on one of the stands. I know this is not much to anything to go by but i have had some terrible luck finding out who made these AOs or if its the same creator, so if anyone has any idea please help me out.

I have seen those too, if it is the same ones I think you mean not sure where they are from, did you try abraanimation (or however it is spelled) Personally I don't like that guy pacing one, always give me the chills, like they are a stalker or something and the bending over forward... well let's just say... looks too.... um... yeah... for me anyway LOL If I see ppl using the ones I think you mean I will ask as well where they are from, see if I can get the info (or if someone posts the info first... then meh, no need to ask)

The female one could be the Aoi Aino set from Mamesando, it seems to be really popular. The bend animation is ST-10, it's become a little infamous.

From: Dove Randt I have seen a man wearing one and one of the stands walks around on one spot in a circle. If it's the one I'm thinking of, you might try a group of stands from Sine Wave that may be sold on their animation stands as 'Caesar' or 'Bouncer'. I can't be sure which, if either, but I know the actual animations are called something like 'caesar_standing_n' or whatever when they are delivered to your inventory. If these are the animations you are looking for, I would suggest you buy them directly from Sine Wave and load them into an AO yourself. The commercial AO, which isn't from Sine Wave, is very badly programmed so that the av jerks around from one poorly matched animation to another. Part of the problem is that the animations are all of different lengths and they get clipped as the AO swaps them at a preset interval. Once the novelty of smooth motion capture wears off, the effect becomes extremely irritating - like a jumpily cut scene in a movie. I made a notecard to play them in my Huddles AO. There's still a certain amount of jerkiness about them because the makers didn't include a decent lead-in/lead-out that might smooth transition better. Nevertheless they play pretty well because I took the trouble to arrange and time them properly. I can let you have the notecard for free in-world if you use a Huddles.

Why can't we work out our differences? Why can't we work things out? Little people, why can't we all just get along? [Said by Jack Nicholson in Mars Attacks!]

That Sine Wave one cracks me up, a friend has it. But kicks it in at funny moments.

From: Ulvhedin Teardrop Akeyo also has that type of guy animation if I recall correctly. yep akeyo has some really nice motion capture animations and they have a male ao with stands that have quite a bit of movement .. pacing and such. they are really well done but the movement is a bit too much for me. they've got good dances too.

Pretty sure what you're looking for is from Mamesando. Just make sure you either use the animations with the avatar they were meant for, or an otherwise exaggerated toony/cutesy avatar. They're just disturbing on a normal human. http://wehatewhatyourewearing.blogspot.com/search/label/AO

From: foehn Breed That Sine Wave one cracks me up, a friend has it. But kicks it in at funny moments. I really like the short, eight second one where the av clasps his hands behind his back and kind of rocks the upper body forward. It reminds me of the principal in my old school. I wish they'd thought them through better and made them the same length with lead-in/lead-out for better transition. Otherwise they really don't work well in an AO. The only av I use them for now is my Monstrous Denotaur: the restless quality of the animations plays very well with the look of the thing. I also looped one or two as 'stands' for a couple of scenes in my wrestling mat.

I'm pretty sure the male pacing one is Sine Wave's Caesar, too. I was there a while ago, looking for some new animations for my AO. Although I have to say it: I'm seeing that circular pacing walk *everywhere* lately, and that's what stopped me from getting it.

What we really need is "float llGetAnimationLength(string animation_name);".

ao
05-24-2009 03:42
my gf's ao is pretty cool.........she waggles gently from side to side, flicks her hair back and leans back to stretch up and down to fiddle with her shoe. Her right leg comes up halfway to the side to accommodate the movement and she sort of balances while messing with a shoe strap. It's very fluid and quite sweet. Mine is much the same, rocks gently from side to side tilting head and occasionally scratching back of head. I saw the guy one the OP may be talking about, where he just walks round and round an avi kinda checkin him/her out......gives me the creeps too.

I think that fiddling with the shoe one is from Happy Dispatch. I started seeing people using it all over the place a while back. I thought it looked like "oh noes, I stepped in something nasty" myself.

There's a 'scraping the sole of your shoe along the floor' animation that I once saw a male avatar using directly after that shoe-inspection anim. I watched him for ages, wondering if he realised how it looked to others.

And this: From: Argent Stonecutter I think that fiddling with the shoe one is from Happy Dispatch. And this: From: Skell Dagger There's a 'scraping the sole of your shoe along the floor' animation that I once saw a male avatar using directly after that shoe-inspection anim. Are both from Sine Wave. There's a tying shoelace animation for both the left foot and the right foot. There are four versions of the shoe-shit wipe and quite a few good 'dressing' animations for checking cuffs, straightening your tie, brushing yourself down, plucking lint and even adjusting your balls.

Skell, the one you mention sounds like a set of animations SineWave have had for quite some time. I was oh so tempted to buy first time I saw them.

From: Skell Dagger I may need to buy that last one. Be a great one to spring on the hubby Dave Bellman gives out a nice freebie of something similar at his Animazoo sim. It's called 'package check' and it's a little more discreet but all the funnier for that. I sometimes toggle the two for 'landing'. Frenetic teleporting can play havoc in a guy's underwear.
