I am a co-owner of a club. I would like my managers to be able to post Events so that they can, well, manage on their own.
The club is on a 4096 sqm parcel on a private estate. I am the land-owner, and the land is set to the club's group. The parcel is listed in search, under the Adult category (which, for a strip club, I thought was more appropriate than something like Hangout, and more useful than Any Category). The managers are in the club's group, of course, and also on my Friends list.
There are five conditions under which someone can post an Event to a parcel. One of them is, "The parcel is in a private island that you are on the access list of, and is at least 512 square meters."
Okay, our parcel is on a private estate and over 512 sqm. Our managers are of course not excluded from the parcel; I put one on the Always-Allow-Access list of the parcel, and that did not allow her to post an Event on the parcel.
Am I missing something regarding the "you are on the access list of" part? Or might something else be wrong?

is the land deeded to a group, if so check the group settings in the roles, might be in there (SL likes to make changes, but not update info reflecting those changes)

I had a problem on someone's group posting events. She needed to set it as a hangout before I could post the events. I was on her friends list, and had abilities in the group itself, but we found out that was the hang up in that case.

Rha is right, it needs to be deeded.
If it is deeded, can you post events? There are some issues with events, TP point must be set and the land can't be above 768M.

phoenixa also makes a very valid point
hang out can also cause a hang up (sounds funny heh)

I know if the land were deeded to the Group it would work, and if I set it to Hangout it would work, though those two solutions have other consequences besides the Event page.
According to the web site, one can post if, "The parcel is in a private island that you are on the access list of, and is at least 512 square meters." Does anyone know how to meet this one? The parcel is on a private estate, more than 512 square meters, and the person is on the always-allow-access list. Is there a different sim-wide access list that makes a difference?

try contacting support and see what they say (as I mentioned earlier, they do make changes and tend to not update everything that would pertain to the change)
