Hi guys,

Had a lot of success with my standalone sim yesterday. Having got the standalone up and running the day before I managed to log in with two viewers on the same PC, so there were two of us now wandering about. I then managed to log in with two different viewers on two PCs on my home network (so instead of talking to myself, I was talking to my son). I then managed to invite a friend from the US into my sim.

Details on setting up a standalone sim are on my blog, at http://rock-vacirca.blogspot.com

I will update it this weekend with details on how to get more than one avatar into the sim at home, and how to do the same from the other side of the router.

On Sunday I plan to connect my sim to an independent grid, OSGrid, and I will relate my experiences of that attempt.

Please feel free to ask any questions on what has been done so far, preferably at the blog site.

Regards

Rock
